Board of Trustees

The 16-member Pension Plan Board of Trustees is the trust fund’s governing body. It meets regularly to review provisions and deal with administrative issues. The Board is comprised equally of representatives of the New York State Nurses Association and the management of participating facilities, as required by the Taft-Hartley Act. Association Trustees include representatives from NYSNA and RNs who work at participating facilities. Employer Trustees include the vice presidents of human resources or employee relations from major metropolitan New York hospitals.
