Benefits Fund conducting its spousal eligibility review

The Benefits Fund is currently conducting its spousal eligibility review. Letters were mailed from HMS to participants on Friday, May 8. Please be sure you have opened your letter, read it completely, and then respond as soon as possible. Any questions or concerns must be addressed to HMS by calling 833-635-8476. Please DO NOT call the Fund office for the status of your information as our representatives do not have access to HMS' files. In addition, the Benefits Fund WILL NOT ACCEPT any documents sent to us. They must be sent directly to HMS.

The NYSNA Pension Plan & Benefits Fund office will be closed on Friday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.


The New York State Nurses Association Benefits Fund

  • Is a nonprofit organization formed to provide NYSNA members and participating employers an affordable, comprehensive, and efficient plan of health insurance.
  • Provides medical, vision, prescription drug, dental, short- and long-term disability, life, paid family leave, and accidental death and dismemberment benefits to its participants
  • Administers benefits pursuant to the terms of 45 NYSNA-negotiated contracts with participating facilities covering nearly 18,000 Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals across New York. Some 22,000 spouses and children of participants also receive coverage through the Benefits Fund.
